About the Valley

Palm Springs is the jewel in the crown of the nine cities comprising Southern California's beautiful Coachella Valley, 100 miles east of Los Angeles. It is a resort community boasting some 100 golf courses and country clubs, and is home to many professional golf events.

Palm Springs Desert Museum:

The Desert Museum is about a whole lot more that the desert. It offers art and natural science exhibits, and is home to the Annenberg Theatre, hosting some seriously wonderful musical events. Check it out here:

Palm Springs Life Magazine:

Palm Springs Life is a print magazine, distributed nationally. The online version has very complete information on hotel and resort accommodations, an event calendar, a dining guide, a golf guide, and, for whatever reason, a public records section. El Paseo Shopping District:

Shopping, anyone? The El Paseo Shopping District is home to over 150 shops, boutiques and more. That's one measured mile of shopping! Their website has a list of merchants and directions.
